Calcium Chloride 74% 96%
Product Description
Calcium Chloride for Aquaculture Usage Calcium is important for farmers that are farming species like shrimps, crabs, crayfish, and marine fishes. Without adequate calcium levels, the animal might face stress due to osmoregulation efforts.

Application
1. In aquaculture, adding calcium chloride to water buffers pH and boosts water hardness. It’s a fast method to increase available calcium for aquatic organisms to form shells.
2. In concrete, calcium chloride speeds up curing and enhances frost resistance, but shouldn’t be used in reinforced concrete due to steel corrosion risk. Anhydrous calcium chloride adds moisture to concrete.
3. Textile flame retardant.
4. Aqueous calcium chloride is essential for refrigeration and ice-making.
5. Acts as an anti-fogging agent in ports and dust suppressant on roads.
6. Used in aluminum-magnesium metallurgy for protection and refining.
7. Precipitant in chrome pigment production.
8. Helps in de-inking processes in paper recycling.
9. Raw material for calcium salt production.
10. Used as a lubricating oil additive.
11. Acts as a desiccant for drying gases and in various chemical production processes.
12. Used in the food industry as a calcium fortifier, curing agent, chelating agent, and drying agent.
